COMMITTEE

The Toodyay Land Conservation District Committee is appointed by the Commissioner of Soil and Land Conservation (the Commissioner), under the Soil and Land Conservation Act 1945.

The Committee comprises the Commissioner or the Commissioner's nominee, representatives of the Western Australian Farmers Federation (WAFF), the Pastoralists and Graziers Association (PGS), nominees from the Shire of Toodyay, and persons actively engaged in or affected by, or associated with land use in the Toodyay Land Conservation District (community members).

The Toodyay Land Conservation District (LCDC) comprises the whole of the Shire of Toodyay.

The current Toodyay Land Conservation District Committee (together with their date of appointment) comprises:

Brian Wood (WAFF - 1989);
Cr Bethan Lloyd (Shire of Toodyay - 2008);
Cr.(currently vacant) (Shire of Toodyay);
Frank Panizza (Community - 2001);
Guiseppe (Joe) Candeloro (Community - 1996);
Kevin Hutchings (Community - 1997);
Wayne Clarke (Community - 1991);
Gregory Warburton (Community - 2008); and
The Commissioner's Nominee

WAFF currently only have one nominee, and the PGA have not provided a nominee.
